Nickelodeon has revealed its plans for San Diego Comic-Con 2026, returning with a heavily slime-themed presence spanning both indoor and outdoor experiences. Inside the convention centre, fans can visit "Nick's Fun-Ergy Factory" at booth #4113, featuring interactive challenges, immersive photo opportunities and retail items inspired by franchises including SpongeBob SquarePants, Avatar: The Last Airbender and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The announcement matters to attendees and families planning their convention schedule, as much of the activity is aimed at children of all ages.

Alongside the indoor booth, Nickelodeon is staging a free outdoor activation called "Fun Flows Here" at The New Children's Museum's park (200 W. Island Ave.), open to the public from Thursday 23 to Sunday 26 July. Highlights include a nearly 20-foot-tall "Slime Surge", a sewer-lair TMNT photo op, a slime booth where select fans get drenched in green goo, and a family movie night on Friday 25 July screening The SpongeBob Movie: Search For Squarepants. There are also stage shows, make-your-own-slime activities, DJ sets and giveaways, with museum members invited to a preview event on Thursday 23 July. San Diego Comic-Con runs from Wednesday 22 July (preview night) through Sunday 26 July, during which the museum is closed to the public, reopening on Monday 27 July.
