Nicole Kidman has said she plans to attend Slovak pop singer Adéla’s forthcoming Nashville concert after being reminded that Adéla has recorded a song titled “Nicole Kidman”. The actress’s endorsement is a notable boost for the emerging artist ahead of her debut album, while highlighting Adéla’s growing profile beyond her existing fan base.

Kidman made the comments at the London premiere of Practical Magic 2 on 26 August, saying she knew of Adéla and intended to see her at The Basement East on 21 September. Adéla’s 11-track debut album, PRIMA, is due on 4 September and includes “Nicole Kidman”; its breakout single “Ain’t in LA” debuted at No. 85 on the Billboard Hot 100. Adéla reacted enthusiastically online, though it remains unclear whether Kidman has heard the song named after her.
