Farage argues the government should address waste elsewhere rather than cutting pensions, citing alternative savings opportunities: £15.3 billion in migrant accommodation spending, £200 billion spent on foreign aid since 2010, and £59 billion allocated to Net Zero schemes by 2030. Reform UK's position, as outlined by Farage, includes scrapping the triple lock abolition, capping foreign aid at £1 billion annually, reducing the civil service, implementing £50 billion in welfare savings, and ceasing taxpayer-funded accommodation for asylum seekers. He characterises Labour as disconnected from working-class interests and suggests pensioners have alternative political options.
