Prime Video has begun filming "Job Trafficking," an eight-episode Hindi-language drama series exploring the industrialised world of online scams, with a particular focus on the trafficking of young people into forced scam operations. The series stars Nimrat Kaur, Roshan Mathew, Kavya Trehan and Pavan Malhotra, and is directed by Prashant Nair for Amazon's Indian streaming service, reflecting Prime Video's continued investment in ambitious Indian-language originals.

The show centres on "pig butchering" scams, in which fraudsters build fake trust with victims over weeks or months before defrauding them, but shifts focus to the trafficking victims forced to become scammers themselves after being lured with fake job offers. It follows three intersecting characters – a trapped scammer, a defrauded housewife and a CEO caught up in the fallout – and is produced by Select Media Holdings and Chalkboard Entertainment. The series joins Prime Video's growing slate of Indian originals such as "Paatal Lok," "Mirzapur" and "The Family Man," following the streamer's May 2026 merger with free service MX Player to consolidate its position as India's largest streaming platform.
