## Summary

Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa says the company will continue celebrating The Legend of Zelda’s 40th anniversary through next year. He pointed to plans spanning games, film, music and merchandise, signalling further activity around the series without confirming any new game.

Nintendo has already marked the anniversary with an Ocarina of Time remake and a Switch 2 collection. A Zelda film is due in April 2027, and a concert tour is planned for next year. The article says fans should not assume the celebrations will include a new mainline game or the long-rumoured Wind Waker and Twilight Princess HD ports.
