- Adam Virgo called the move a “no-brainer”.

## Summary

The new source coverage does not provide any article content beyond a Google sign-in and cookie notice, so it does not confirm or change the earlier account of Dave Challinor’s appointment at Sheffield Wednesday. The available context says former EFL player Adam Virgo described the move as a “no-brainer”, citing Challinor’s experience in League One.

Challinor, 51, left Stockport County in the summer after five years in charge, taking the club from the National League to League One. Virgo said Challinor deserved the opportunity and praised his trust in his players and coaching staff; he had expected Burnley to consider him, but they chose another option.
