- Brody’s comments on Gaza drew criticism from the show’s former rabbi consultant.

## Summary

Erin Foster has responded to Adam Brody’s comments on the Israel-Hamas conflict, saying she disagrees with him but accepts that he is entitled to a different opinion. As Netflix’s *Nobody Wants This* returns for a third season, she reaffirmed that the series is intended as a love letter to Judaism and said she wants Jewish viewers to feel seen.

Foster made the remarks on an upcoming podcast episode, describing debate and disagreement on the show’s set as much like conversations around dinner tables. Brody told GQ last month that he considers the situation in Gaza a genocide and wants a free Palestine; the show’s former rabbi consultant criticised his use of the term, while the article notes that several organisations have classified Israel’s actions as genocide. The series follows agnostic podcaster Joanne, played by Kristen Bell, as she falls in love with Brody’s Rabbi Noah and explores Judaism.
