Noise wants to help everyday people become paid content creators

TechCrunch · 1 hour ago

Marketing platform Noise is aiming to let ordinary people earn money as content creators, connecting brands with anyone willing to promote products on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook or YouTube, rather than relying on established influencers. Creators are paid per view instead of a flat fee, while brands submit campaign briefs and budgets and let Noise handle sourcing, coordination and payments across thousands of creators at once. This positions the company as a cheaper alternative to traditional influencer marketing, tapping into a growing appetite for creator work, particularly among younger people.

Noise announced a $5.5 million seed round on Wednesday, led by Capital Midwest, M25 and Girshin Robotics, taking its total funding to $7.2 million. Founded in 2025 by Diego Kafie, Stu Feldt and Nic Weber after their experience building the mobile game app Playbite, the platform now has 1.5 million creators, with top earners making six-figure incomes and Noise taking a cut of brand payments. The new funds will go towards expanding the product and hiring, alongside a newly launched "Organic-to-Ads" feature that lets brands turn creator videos into paid adverts on Meta and TikTok.
