Channel 5 has commissioned a 90-minute factual drama, provisionally titled *To Nicola, Love Peter*, about former SNP chief executive Peter Murrell’s embezzlement from the party and the political and personal consequences surrounding it. The programme is intended to examine a story that has dominated Scottish politics, including its effect on former First Minister Nicola Sturgeon’s reputation and their marriage.

The drama will cover the theft of more than £400,000 from the SNP, for which Murrell was jailed for more than five years in June, according to the article.
