NVIDIA GeForce Now adds Firefox support on Windows
NVIDIA has extended GeForce Now support to the Firefox browser on Windows, ending one of the last major gaps in official browser compatibility for its cloud gaming service. This means Firefox users can now stream PC games directly through the browser without needing to switch to Chrome, Edge or another supported browser, making the service more accessible to those who prefer Mozilla's software.
Firefox joins Chrome, Edge, Safari and Opera on the list of browsers officially supported by GeForce Now, with streaming available at up to 1440p resolution and 120 frames per second for GeForce Now Ultimate subscribers. The service, which works across PCs, tablets, phones, TVs and handheld devices, gives users access to more than 2,000 games, including titles they already own on Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, Xbox's PC Game Pass and Ubisoft Connect. Mozilla said the addition follows months of collaboration with NVIDIA in response to long-standing user requests.
