## Key points

- Large group stormed NYC venue security without tickets before Jay-Z show.
- Concert start delayed until after midnight as a result.
- Incident raises questions over venue security and crowd control.

## Summary

A Jay-Z concert in New York City was delayed until after midnight after a large crowd bypassed security checks and entered the venue without valid tickets. The security breach forced organisers to hold back the start of the show, disrupting the evening for ticket-holders who had arrived on time and raising questions about crowd control at the venue.

The scale of the breach was significant enough to cause hours of delay to the performance, with video footage reportedly capturing the moment the group pushed past security. Beyond the confirmation that the show was pushed back until after midnight, further specifics of the incident were not detailed in the available report.
