## Key points

- Peacock moves its O.J. Simpson documentary premiere to 1 November.
- The shift follows renewed attention after a New York Times investigation.
- The series examines claims about Simpson’s inner circle and the 1994 murders.

## Summary

Peacock has brought forward the premiere of its two-part documentary OJ’s Accomplice to 1 November, from December, as renewed attention focuses on the O.J. Simpson case. The timing follows a New York Times investigation published earlier this month, and reflects Peacock’s aim to release the series while the case is back in public discussion.

The documentary says it presents new evidence and accounts that raise questions about whether people in Simpson’s inner circle knew more about the 1994 murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman. Interviewees include houseguest and trial witness Kato Kaelin, Brown’s sister, defence investigator Pat McKenna, lead detective Tom Lange and DEA agent Robert Brisolari. Simpson was acquitted in the 1995 criminal trial; a civil jury later found him responsible for the deaths.
