Oasis Documentary Trailer Takes Fans Behind the Scenes of Band’s Dramatic Reunion: ‘Will It Fall Apart Again?’
Developing story first seen 4 hours ago
The newly released trailer for an upcoming Oasis documentary highlights the personal concerns and doubts the Gallagher brothers expressed regarding their highly anticipated reunion. Despite earlier hesitation about whether the collaboration would prove sustainable and free from the conflict that previously fractured the band, Liam and Noel proceeded with the project, ultimately delivering what became the most commercially successful rock reunion of 2025 in terms of ticket sales and global reach.
Directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, the documentary provides exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the reunion tour through rehearsal footage and live performances, including the first in-depth interviews the brothers have conducted together in more than two decades. Produced through Magna Studios and Sony Music Vision, the film will premiere at the Venice Film Festival before expanding to a limited theatrical release featuring IMAX screens starting in September, with subsequent availability on Disney+ internationally and Hulu in the United States.

Oasis, the Manchester band led by brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher, split acrimoniously in 2009 after years of well-publicised feuding. Their surprise reunion, announced for 2025, drew enormous public interest given how bitter and seemingly permanent the split had appeared, and the resulting tour went on to sell out venues worldwide.
The documentary covered here follows that reunion process, using rehearsal and concert footage alongside interviews with Liam and Noel, marking a rare instance of the brothers speaking together on camera after more than twenty years of estrangement. It is directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace and made with Magna Studios and Sony Music Vision.
The film matters both as a music-industry event, given the scale and commercial success of the reunion tour, and as a rare inside look at the relationship between two figures whose disputes have long been a fixture of British pop culture. It is set for a festival premiere and cinema run before streaming on Disney+ and Hulu.
