## Key points

- *Anything But Ghosts* was filmed before *Obsession* opened widely.
- Barker hopes his next film escapes the pressure of comparisons.
- He is interested in television but plans to focus on films for now.

## Summary

Curry Barker says his next horror film, *Anything But Ghosts*, should get a “free pass” from comparisons with *Obsession*, because it was filmed before that film’s wide release brought him new attention. He acknowledged feeling pressure to prove that success will not affect his work, but hopes the timing of the next film means that pressure did not shape it.

Barker also said he is interested in telling stories for television, where character arcs can unfold over several seasons, but has no series announcement and expects to focus on films for now. Any future television work would depend on his schedule. The article does not provide a release date or further plot details for *Anything But Ghosts*.
