## Summary

Olivia Rodrigo has released “Take Me Home (4 Christmas)”, her first original holiday song, with a video featuring actor Cynthia Nixon and comedian Ben Marshall. The story follows Rodrigo imagining a festive visit with Marshall’s family, where Nixon plays a welcoming future in-law; the video draws on holiday-family film tropes.

The release also reflects Rodrigo’s long-standing enthusiasm for *Sex and the City*: she has said she has watched every episode around three times and that Miranda and Steve’s relationship inspired a lyric in “Maggots for Brains”. She previously covered Joni Mitchell’s “River” in 2020. Rodrigo is touring through summer 2027 in support of her latest album.
