Director Olivia Wilde has revealed further details about her upcoming holiday comedy "Naughty", describing it as the biggest project of her career so far. The announcement follows news that Jennifer Aniston and Peter Dinklage will star in the film, with Wilde speaking to The Hollywood Reporter on the red carpet for "I Want Your Sex", another film she currently stars in.

Wilde called "Naughty" a long-gestating passion project made in the spirit of Rob Reiner, combining comedy with emotional depth, and praised Universal Pictures for entrusting her with an original theatrical comedy at this scale. The film follows Mallory (Aniston), who is locked in a custody battle with her ex and seeks out Santa Claus (Dinklage) to testify on her behalf in the divorce hearing. It will mark Wilde's fourth directorial feature, after "Booksmart", "Don't Worry Darling" and this year's "The Invite", and is scheduled for theatrical release on 5 November 2027.
