OsamaSon Played an All-Leaks Set Over the Weekend

Pitchfork · 13 hours ago

Rapper OsamaSon turned a Saturday-night set at Toronto's First Class Fest into an impromptu showcase of entirely unreleased music, embracing the leak culture that has long surrounded his career. A late lineup change at the festival, held over the weekend, saw him added to perform on both nights, and he used the extra slot on 29 August to debut a run of previously unheard tracks rather than play established material.

The 18-song set included live debuts of "All Day," "Range Rover," "Guap in My Pants," "Movie," "Broad," and "Creek." OsamaSon's career has been repeatedly disrupted by leaks, including a 2024 dump of more than 400 unreleased tracks and the premature leak of his album Jump Out in January 2025, which he said stripped him of the ability to promote his own music properly. He is currently teasing a collaborative album with fellow rapper Nettspend.
