## Summary

Philadelphia mother Kumbah Sarnor says a diner server threw away her belongings and her daughter’s toys while they were using the bathroom. Her account, shared in a viral video, prompted an apology from the restaurant and renewed scrutiny of how the incident was handled.

Sarnor said she and her daughter returned within five minutes to find the table cleared, then saw the server retrieve her jacket, wallet, car keys and three stuffed animals from a bin containing food and debris. She said other diners told her the server had used the toys to wipe the table. Silk City said the conduct was unacceptable and that the worker was no longer employed there.
