Variety has confirmed additional speakers and panels for its Entertainment & Technology Summit, presented by EY, taking place on 17 September in Los Angeles. The event will bring together senior figures from major media and entertainment companies alongside actors, comedians and musicians to discuss trends shaping the industry, including the growing role of artificial intelligence in content creation and audience engagement.

Newly announced participants include actor Owen Thiele, musician Este Haim, comedians Kate Berlant, Lisa Gilroy and Joel Kim Booster, who will headline a "Storytelling Vanguards" panel, plus executives such as Nancy Hall of WPP Media and Liz Jenkins of NBCUniversal Entertainment. Other sessions include a fireside chat on Netflix comedy and "A Different World" with executives Tracey Pakosta and Felicia Pride, a panel on the future of the TV business featuring leaders from Amazon, Fox, Samsung Ads, NBCUniversal and Disney Advertising, and discussions on experiential entertainment and innovation featuring representatives from Paramount, Hallmark, Mattel, SEGA, Tetris and Interscope Geffen A&M Records, among others.
