Ozzfest will return to the United States in 2027, its first US appearance in nearly a decade, while also holding an event in Birmingham, Ozzy Osbourne’s hometown. The revival reflects Sharon Osbourne’s efforts to restore the festival after Ozzy’s death and renew its role as a platform for emerging hard rock and metal acts.

Specific US cities, dates and line-ups have not yet been announced. The Birmingham event is planned for Villa Park, a 42,000-capacity stadium that hosted Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne’s farewell concert in July 2025, although its date and line-up are also unknown. Founded in 1996, Ozzfest became a major annual touring festival before becoming sporadic; its most recent event was held in California in 2018.
