Pablo Alborán Cancels Spain Show Due to Severe Pneumonia: ‘I Need Complete Rest for the Next Few Days’
Spanish singer Pablo Alborán has cancelled a concert scheduled for 21 August in Ciudad Real, Spain, after being diagnosed with severe pneumonia. The 36-year-old pop star, known for hits including "Solamente Tú" and "Saturno", announced the news via Instagram on 20 August, saying doctors had advised him to take complete rest for the next few days.
Alborán said he had already begun a course of antibiotics and expected to recover soon, urging fans and media to treat the news "with care and calmness" rather than sensationalising it. He remains in the midst of his KM0 2026 world tour, supporting his latest album of the same name, and is next due to perform on 30 August at the Festival de la Luz in Baimoro, Spain, ahead of a planned Latin American leg starting in Costa Rica on 27 September.
