Paramount Primal Picks Up Erotic Thriller ‘Sweet Spot,’ Co-Written By Screenwriting Influencer (Exclusive)
Paramount Primal has acquired Sweet Spot, an original high-concept erotic-thriller screenplay by writer Nic Curcio and his wife, Kirby Gladstein. The deal expands the new Paramount genre label’s developing slate and marks another industry project for Curcio, who is also widely known for screenwriting advice on TikTok.
No producers, director or cast have yet been attached, and story details are being withheld. Curcio has nearly 143,000 TikTok followers and more than 10.2 million likes, and has worked on projects including Sony Pictures Animation’s GOAT; he and Gladstein also won Fantastic Fest’s 2025 pitching competition for their horror film Play House.
