Partisan acquires Firebird’s interest in indie pubco OTM Music, merges it with its Left Music publishing arm
Partisan Music has acquired Firebird’s interest in independent publisher OTM Music, making Partisan the publishing company’s majority partner. OTM will become the main publishing operation within Partisan Music and will merge with Left Music, Partisan’s existing publishing arm, expanding its creative and sync capabilities.
Alex Sheridan will remain OTM’s Founder and CEO, working with Craig Michie and Kate Sweetsur on artist development and A&R. The enlarged company will operate across London, Los Angeles, New York and Paris, with a roster including Elizabeth Fraser, Sub Focus, Metronomy’s Joseph Mount, Sudan Archives and Leon Michels; the deal comes amid wider consolidation, investment and technological change in global music publishing.
