Percy Jackson and the Olympians is a Disney+ fantasy series based on Rick Riordan’s bestselling novels. It follows Percy, a modern American teenager who discovers he is a demigod: the son of a human mother and the Greek god Poseidon.
Percy’s world includes ancient Greek gods and monsters living alongside modern society, with the gods based on Mount Olympus. He is usually joined by his friends Annabeth Chase, daughter of Athena, and Grover Underwood, a satyr who acts as their guide and protector.
The Titan’s Curse is the third main Percy Jackson book and introduces a wider threat to Olympus, the home of the gods. Kronos is a powerful Titan and long-standing enemy of the Olympian gods, while prophecies in the series often shape the choices and dangers faced by Percy and his friends.
