Perez Hilton's TikTok account has been banned after a livestream on Tuesday night in which he appeared to harm himself, prompting police to respond to a possible suicide attempt at his Miami home. He was hospitalised later that night, following a broadcast in which viewers reportedly saw him covered in blood and cutting himself with a knife, leading them to alert police.

A TikTok spokesperson said the platform's automated moderation system flagged the livestream after several minutes and shut it down after 15 minutes, though a moderation error caused a delay in removing it. Hilton's family issued a statement thanking supporters and confirming he is receiving medical care, while asking for privacy during this difficult time.
