Phoebe Bridgers has released “On Video”, a chilling rock song written for the soundtrack of Lance Oppenheim’s crime thriller Primetime. The track plays over the film’s end titles, while Bridgers also makes her acting debut in the film as decoy Del Harvey, marking a significant expansion of her creative work beyond music.

Primetime stars Robert Pattinson as Chris Hansen, alongside Merritt Wever, Skyler Gisondo and Alex Winter, and is based on the television programme To Catch a Predator. The soundtrack also includes an original score by Ari Balouzian, while Bridgers is touring behind her solo album Lost Weekend; the film is due to reach cinemas on Friday.
