- Palace are 17th and have conceded 19 goals in eight league games.
- The board is split over possible replacements.

## Summary

Crystal Palace have delayed a decision on Pierre Sage’s future, but the manager remains under severe pressure after a poor start to the season. Chair Steve Parish is waiting through a crowded run of fixtures, while Saturday’s Premier League match at Tottenham is understood to be crucial to whether Sage stays in charge.

Palace are 17th and have conceded 19 goals in eight league matches, the most in the division. The board is divided over dismissing Sage after 12 games, with Thomas Frank, Sean Dyche and Rob Edwards mentioned as possible replacements; two senior players have expressed faith in him. Injuries and suspensions have affected the side, while Ismaïla Sarr’s recurring groin problem is another concern.
