## Summary

Film producer Pippa Harris and YouTube UK and Ireland boss Alison Lomax have joined the board of governors of the National Film and Television School (NFTS). Their appointments add production and digital-platform experience as the school adapts to changes in how audiences find and watch stories.

Harris founded Neal Street and has worked on films and programmes including *1917*, *Call the Midwife* and *Hamnet*; she is also producing Sam Mendes’ forthcoming Beatles films. Lomax has led YouTube UK and Ireland for nearly four years. The appointments come as the NFTS prepares to open a 25,000-square-foot building at its Beaconsfield headquarters in January 2027, adding teaching space, courses, apprenticeships and its first accessible student accommodation.
