It can automatically catch Pokémon and spin PokéStops while the app is suspended, potentially reducing the need for separate physical accessories; however, Scopely has not formally announced the feature, so its final form remains uncertain.

Reports suggest the number of Pokémon caught and PokéStops spun differs between players, indicating the system may still be under test. Dataminers first found references to the gadget earlier this year, prompting speculation that it could be monetised through premium access, event limits or ball-specific tiers, though no pricing or wider release details have been confirmed.
