## Summary

Polish prosecutors have opened a terrorism investigation after a gunman killed nine people, including a British man, in Krakow. Authorities say the suspect may have been motivated by far-right views; the attack has raised questions about how he obtained weapons and what led to the killings.

The 25-year-old allegedly killed his parents and sister at their home before driving into the city’s Main Market Square and firing a semi-automatic rifle. Six people died in the square, at least 15 were injured, and two police officers who confronted him remained in critical condition. The suspect was wounded in the exchange and was receiving surgery in hospital.
