## Summary

Bryan Adams has released “Lake Ontario”, a song mocking Donald Trump’s attempt to rename the Great Lake “Lake America”. The track portrays Trump as “a baby tossing toys from the pram” and suggests the naming row distracts from wider issues.

The release comes amid strained Canadian-American relations and follows Adams’s earlier song “51st State”, which responded to Trump’s talk of absorbing Canada during a tariff dispute. The article frames the song as a new salvo in the tensions between the two neighbours and asks whether Adams’s criticism is fair.
