## Summary

This article from the Daily Mail reports that Portugal's last remaining circus elephant has been relocated to an animal sanctuary, where it will live out the rest of its life. The move marks a notable moment for animal welfare in the country, signalling the end of the use of circus elephants in Portugal.

The full details of the story — including the elephant's name, age, the sanctuary's location and the circumstances of the relocation — could not be extracted, as the supplied page text consisted almost entirely of unrelated Daily Mail navigation menus, promotional links and headlines about other subjects such as Wimbledon, royal appearances and world news.
