## Key points

- United sit 18th with eight points after 10 games.
- A 96th-minute goal salvaged a 4-4 draw with Villa.
- Carrick faces continued pressure over the team’s form.

## Summary

Manchester United are 18th in the Premier League, in the relegation zone, after drawing 4-4 at home with Aston Villa. The dramatic late comeback earned a point but did little to ease pressure on manager Michael Carrick, with defensive lapses and an unsettled performance deepening concern about the team’s form.

Villa scored twice in the opening four minutes, and United conceded two more soon after half-time. Bruno Fernandes and Youri Tielemans brought United level before the break; Joshua Zirkzee and Patrick Dorgu, who scored in the 96th minute, rescued the draw. United have eight points from 10 games, one behind Coventry City, and Carrick said individual errors had cost his side as players and fans voiced their frustration.
