Deadline · 2 days ago

The second season of the Prime Video thriller drama "The Assassin" has secured distribution deals with multiple international broadcasters and streaming platforms, continuing the show's expansion across global markets. The season, co-produced by Prime Video, Stan (Australia), and Germany's ZDF, will reach audiences through partnerships with Canada's Bell Media, NBCUniversal LatAm, and public broadcasters in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Netherlands, Greece, Belgium, Israel, and New Zealand, alongside others.

The syndication success builds on Season 1's broad international uptake across Scandinavia and Eastern Europe. The series is created and written by Harry and Jack Williams of Two Brothers Pictures, with direction from Terry McDonough and Sarah O'Gorman.
