Amazon has launched a combined STARZ and Crunchyroll subscription through Prime Video Channels in the United States, reflecting its push to make anime a more prominent part of its streaming offer. The move matters because it brings anime, films and premium drama together under a single billing and viewing platform, potentially making subscriptions more convenient for existing Prime Video customers.

The bundle costs $16.99 per month, compared with standalone Crunchyroll plans priced from $9.99 to $17.99 and STARZ at $11.99 monthly. Crunchyroll, owned by Sony, has more than 15 million subscribers and over 2,000 titles, including Demon Slayer and One Piece; STARZ offers films and live-action dramas. It joins other Prime Video Channels add-ons such as HBO Max, Paramount+ and Apple TV+.
