Streaming platform Prime Video has seen renewed interest in the 2021 action thriller Nobody, starring Bob Odenkirk, which has re-entered the service's global top 10. The film is presented as a standout rival to the John Wick franchise, notable for its subversive casting of Odenkirk — best known as Saul Goodman in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul — as an unassuming suburban man with a violent hidden past, and its return to popularity coincides with the arrival of a sequel, Nobody 2.

Directed by Ilya Naishuller and written by John Wick creator Derek Kolstad, Nobody follows Hutch, an ordinary man who reverts to his lethal former life after a home invasion and ends up confronting a Russian crime lord, using stylised, neon-drenched "gun-fu" action.
