## Summary

Prime Video’s Spanish-language zombie sequel *Apocalypse Z: New World* is now streaming, following the international success of 2024’s *Apocalypse Z: The Beginning of the End*. It widens the story from Manel and his cat to a group of survivors, exploring the dangers beyond their refuge and the uncertainty of finding other people after society collapses.

In an exclusive clip, survivors discover a working online chat network and hope to contact someone in Madrid, but the reply is an automated message last recorded two months earlier. The sequel is set after the TSJ virus outbreak, with the Canary Islands described as Europe’s last refuge; a mission to the mainland for supplies brings Roberto into a group facing threats from both infected people and his questionable intentions. Carles Torrens directs, with a screenplay by Ángel Agudo.
