- *Savage Son* is based on Jack Carr’s third novel.
- *The Terminal List* season two drew 830 million minutes in one week.

## Summary

Prime Video has ordered *Savage Son*, a new drama expanding *The Terminal List* franchise and centred on James Reece, played by Chris Pratt. Based on Jack Carr’s third novel about the former Navy SEAL, the series will take Reece into what is described as his most personal and dangerous mission yet.

The order came two weeks after *The Terminal List* season two premiered, drawing 830 million minutes of viewing in the week of 19 to 25 October. Prime Video has not decided whether to renew the original series, and it is unclear which cast members, if any, will join Pratt in *Savage Son*. No writer or showrunner is attached; the project follows the 2023 prequel *Dark Wolf* and is being produced by Amazon MGM Studios, MRC and Civic Center Media.
