The BFI London Film Festival, running from 7 to 18 October, has added a fresh wave of high-profile films to its programme, including the UK premiere of Paul Thomas Anderson's Cameron Winter at Carnegie Hall and Robert Pattinson's Primetime, which is arriving fresh from its Venice premiere. The announcement underscores the scale and star power of this year's festival, which continues to draw major directors, actors and gala premieres to London ahead of awards season.

Among the new additions are Luca Guadagnino's Artificial, starring Andrew Garfield and dramatising Sam Altman's dismissal and reinstatement at OpenAI, and Chris Rock's comedy Misty Green, featuring Rosalind Eleazar, Adam Driver and Daniel Kaluuya. Also joining the lineup are Jonathan Glazer's documentary Joy of Joys, the mountaineering film Everest: The Other Side, and Thai horror Inherit. The festival has further bolstered its Screen Talks series with sit-down discussions featuring Javier Bardem and Robert Eggers, alongside previously confirmed guests such as Andrew Scott and Cynthia Erivo. The festival opens with Elsinore and closes with The Debut.
