## Summary

The Princess of Wales shared a photograph of Prince Louis playing with a pumpkin when he was about one, wishing people a happy Halloween. The image offers a rare glimpse of how the family marks the holiday, which they generally celebrate privately as they seek to give their children a relatively normal upbringing.

Louis, now eight, wears a blue raincoat and red boots in the photograph, which Catherine took herself. The article notes that the family has previously been seen trick-or-treating, including in doorbell-camera footage from 2022, and describes Louis’s recent public appearances at his birthday trip to Cornwall and the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
