She was at the hospital to see how money raised through her secret Three Peaks Challenge in June, involving climbs of Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon, is funding a new Holistic Wellbeing and Recovery centre as part of a £200 million redevelopment of the site. She thanked hospital chairman Sir Douglas Flint and staff, describing the holistic and therapeutic support she received alongside clinical treatment as making "a big difference" to her recovery and to other patients.
