Tessa Blanchard has signed with Major League Wrestling (MLW), announcing the move in an interview with TMZ's "Inside the Ring" on Monday. She will make her promotional debut at MLW Fightland on 12 September in Charleston, South Carolina, joining a women's division she says she intends to dominate.

The signing comes after Blanchard parted ways with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) in June. A third-generation wrestler, she is the daughter of Tully Blanchard, granddaughter of promoter Joe Blanchard, and stepdaughter of Magnum T.A. MLW's ties to Mexican promotion CMLL, where Blanchard has won the Women's International Grand Prix and a tag title alongside Lluvia, make her a natural fit; she joins a division featuring Shotzi, Scarlett Bordeaux, Lady Frost and Priscilla Kelly, with Shotzi currently holding the MLW Women's World Championship. Fightland, one of MLW's marquee events, is also set to feature Killer Kross, Matt Riddle, Austin Aries and Trevor Lee.
