Publishing Briefs: Drake ‘Iceman’ Collaborator London Cyr Signs With Electric Feel/Sony
London Cyr, the producer who has worked with Drake, Travis Scott, Don Toliver and Doja Cat, has signed a publishing deal with Electric Feel Publishing in partnership with Sony Music Publishing. The move follows a run of high-profile work, including seven tracks he produced on Drake's album Iceman and a contribution to Habibti, and it reflects his rising standing within hip-hop production. Cyr said he had long admired the approach of Electric Feel founder Austin Rosen and expressed enthusiasm about working alongside both teams.
Cyr's credits on Iceman include "Whisper My Name," "National Treasures," "Plot Twist," "B's On The Table," "Burning Bridges," "What Did I Miss?" and "Little Birdie," while his contribution to Habibti was the track "Gen 5"; his collaborations with Drake date back to 2024. The article also rounds up several other publishing deals: UMPG Nashville and ONE4 Records launched a joint venture, ONE4 Music, with Kentucky's Hunter Flynn as its first signing; Quinn XCII signed with Prescription Songs; Exceleration Music and NexTone acquired the recording and publishing catalogue of the late Japanese pioneer Ryuichi Sakamoto; and Jarrett Doherty of the duo Jady signed with Reservoir through its new joint venture with Sam Tinnesz's Tinman.
