British rock band Pulp has unveiled the first trailer for an upcoming documentary focusing on their 2025 reunion tour. Titled 'What Do You Do for an Encore?' and directed by Garth Jennings, the film will premiere exclusively on streaming service Mubi on September 25, preceded by a single theatrical screening on September 24. Frontman Jarvis Cocker narrates the project, reflecting on how the band's actual history has exceeded what he could have imagined.

The documentary interweaves concert footage from Pulp's comeback performances with archival material spanning the group's four-decade existence, including footage never previously released. The film chronicles the band's trajectory from provincial outsiders to mainstream cultural figures, whilst incorporating 20 songs selected from their 2025 tour dates. Jennings, who previously directed music videos for two of the band's earlier singles, expressed enthusiasm about capturing the reunion as a meaningful cultural moment.
