Pusheen’s Place launches on Apple Arcade in October
Apple has announced Pusheen's Place, the first-ever video game based on the popular cartoon cat character, which will launch exclusively on Apple Arcade on 1 October. The game lets players collect and care for more than 100 variations of Pusheen, including Pusheenicorn and Pancake Pusheen, while decorating rooms and completing a range of minigames. It marks a notable expansion of the Pusheen brand into interactive entertainment, following its long-running success as a sticker and merchandise character.
Players will be able to take part in minigames such as Snack Stack, Parfait Pop and Batch Match, alongside various puzzles, according to the game's App Store description. Developers have said they plan to keep adding new Pusheens, decor themes and features after launch. The title arrives alongside several other new additions to Apple's £6.99/$6.99-a-month Arcade subscription service next month, including Terraria, River City Survivors, Touchgrind BMX 2 and 4 Pics 1 Word.
