Quavo said Takeoff’s death helped ease the strain between him and Offset, his fellow Migos member and childhood friend. He said his grief put earlier disagreements into perspective and made him more willing to support Offset through whatever either of them was facing.

Quavo said he and Offset are working in the studio on a Migos album, and he wants fans to judge it when it is released. He said they are trying to preserve the group’s sound and will give the project their full effort; his solo album, *QRÖMELIFE*, is also set to be produced by Pharrell and feature a reunion with Offset.
