## Summary

Queen's landmark 1986 Budapest concert has been given a full 4K restoration, overseen by Peter Jackson's team, and released worldwide in cinemas from 7 October to mark its 40th anniversary. Staged at Népstadion on 27 July 1986, the show was the first major Western stadium rock concert held in a Communist country during the Cold War, making it a historically significant moment where music and geopolitics intersected in the Eastern Bloc.

The restored footage captures Queen's last filmed live performance and has been made available in both cinema and home video formats, allowing audiences to see it in high definition for the first time. The rerelease was timed to coincide with the concert's 40th anniversary, cementing its place as a landmark moment in rock history.
