Quentin Tarantino’s First Film in 7 Years Officially Named With New Netflix Trailer
Netflix has renamed its forthcoming Cliff Booth film The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth and released a brief teaser featuring Brad Pitt’s character driving. The project matters because it extends the world of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Tarantino’s last released film, while bringing together Tarantino as writer and David Fincher as director for the first time.
Pitt reprises the stuntman Cliff Booth, who was Rick Dalton’s friend, driver and stunt double in the 2019 film. Tarantino wrote the script but will not direct; Fincher, whose Netflix films include Mank and The Killer, will direct instead. The film is due in select IMAX cinemas from 25 November for two weeks, before arriving on Netflix on 23 December.
