## Key points

- Tarantino’s Cliff Booth story returns after seven years.
- David Fincher directs Tarantino’s screenplay.
- Brad Pitt reprises his Oscar-winning role.

## Summary

The article reports that *The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth*, written by Quentin Tarantino and directed by David Fincher, is due in cinemas and on Netflix next month. Brad Pitt returns as Cliff Booth, continuing the alternate-history Hollywood story from *Once Upon a Time in Hollywood* and marking the first new film based on Tarantino’s work in seven years.

Set in 1977, the story follows Cliff as a Hollywood fixer who handles problems for influential clients, sometimes outside the law. The cast includes Elizabeth Debicki, Scott Caan, Carla Gugino, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and returning actor Timothy Olyphant; the article suggests the film shifts towards a crime story about 1970s Los Angeles, with a darker tone shaped by Fincher’s direction.
