Radiohead have been teased as a possible act for Tokyo’s Summer Sonic festival in 2027, after concert footage was shown at this year’s event alongside the message “TOKYO 2027”. The signal suggests the band may resume live performances internationally after returning to the stage in late 2025, though no formal festival booking has been announced.

The band toured the UK and Europe in late 2025, their first live dates in seven years. Guitarist Ed O’Brien has said Radiohead hope to play around 20 shows annually on a different continent from 2027, while confirming that the group have no plans for 2026 beyond members’ solo work.
